  14. Totally positive and self-motivated I combine high quality drawing 
  15. skills from a sharp and inquiring mind that give excellent creative 
  16. ability. Accurate drawing from life has formed a foundation for other 
  17. styles which often involve designs using a keen imagination where I 
  18. love to invent images not expected to be found in nature. Experienced 
  19. in Amiga graphics packages and traditional techniques alike I utilise 
  20. them as tools in an expanding repertoire where I am able to pick up 
  21. new ideas with ease and explore other avenues to further my 
  22. illustrative knowledge.

  24. Able to work well within a team environment I excel under my own 
  25. initiative too. Capable of meeting deadlines I am not deterred by the 
  26. pressure, which only serves to heighten my achievements.

  28. challenge of a given commission.

  30. Latest work has seen me leaning more towards paper orientated art, 
  31. reflected in the images with this text, all painted on paper then 
  32. scanned and touched up in Brilliance. Starting out with the usual paint 
  33. brush approach all paper based commissions done nowadays are 
  34. complemented with the airbrush for improved quality, as I am rarely 
  35. satisfied with finished pictures. Commonly used paints are acrylic, 
  36. water colour, gouache and Chroma Colour.

  38. My training was at Lincoln university where I received distinctions in 
  39. Graphic Design and A Level Art. Straight after I had several interviews 
  40. and was offered a job at Core Design, a leading developer in the 
  41. software industry. I illustrate magazines and newspapers, the latter a
  42. place where I also have published those small black and white 
  43. cartoons. I do fine art for exhibiting and selling to galleries. I'll 
  44. probably end up involved in films. With several years unconsciously 
  45. honing my writing skills via comms and diskmags, I am involved in
  46. journalism, painting pictures with words. Following from this I am 
  47. competent with creative and original short stories where I compose
  48. inventive story lines and characters.

  50. Interests include martial arts where I attained Black Belt in karate and 
  51. have taken gradings in other styles. I love adrenalin sports but aim not 
  52. to cut my illustrative career short by doing a base jump. I have been 
  53. awarded with the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award and win at chess.
